The Hershey Gardens was primarily opened on request of Milton Hershey in 1937. He wanted a nice rose garden which today has expanded from three and half acres to a 23 acre stunning botanical garden. The beautiful blooming garden is a treat to everyone visiting this lovely green abode. The garden features 11 diversely themed gardens such as Historic Hershey Rose Garden, Seasonal Display Garden, M.S. Hershey Tribute Garden, to name a few. Visit the section teeming with 350 to 400 butterflies at the Butterfly House and explore the Children’s Garden on the Great Garden Adventure. The garden also organises fun events and summer programs from time to time.
