Located approximately 186 km from Jaipur, it is also called as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Bring out your binoculars, for this place is a paradise for bird watchers boasting over 380 resident and migrant species, including the rare Siberian Cranes. Besides birds, you can even chance upon a Golden Jackal, Striped Hyaena, Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Nilgai, Sambar, Blackbuck, or a wild Boar. Hire a rickshaw puller who is trained by the park officials to take you on a safari. Enjoy a boat ride early in the morning or late evening, which is the best time to sight the flora and fauna here.
