Explore and admire this 18th century ‘haveli’ (mansion), set on the water’s edge of Lake Pichola in the Gangaur Ghat region. Built by Amir Chand Badwa, the then Prime Minister of Mewar, the property was occupied by Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore, who built three more storeys to the mansion. The mansion has over 100 rooms and a museum that displays some exquisite costumes of the aristocrats, their artefacts and other items. Marvel at the paintings in the Queen’s Chamber and enjoy a fascinating light and sound show or an entertaining puppet show in the evening. Also, admire this beautifully lit ‘haveli’ at night.
