Brühl's Terrace

Nicknamed Balcony of Europe, it has a stairway connecting the cathedral and the views it offers are breathtaking. Look over the Elbe, the neo-classical Saxon State Ministry of Finance, Ständehaus, the neo-Baroque Secundogenitur, and some neo-Renaissance style buildings. Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle is so well set amidst the tall trees and towering mountains that it almost seems like nature itself has carved it out from a big rock. Carved out by a stage designer, it’s no wonder it was the model for Sleeping Beauty. Sängersaal with its frescos is the best room in the romantic medieval castle but the Gothic sections, mosaic floor, Byzantine wonders, are all awe-inspiring. It’s a sight you’ll catch in your dreams for several nights after.
