Wat Arun & Wat Pho

The Wat Arun locally known as Wat Chaeng is located on the western bank of the Chaophraya River, and is one of the most stunning temple in Bangkok, standing tall at 70 metres. It is heavily decorated with colourful glass and Chinese porcelain, and even though it is called the Temple of the Dawn, it looks really beautiful and awe inspiring under the lights. It is an important Buddhist prayer site and an important tourist attraction as well.

Phi Phi Islands

The Phi Phi Islands are situated between Phuket and the Strait of Malacca and is the largest island in this area. Secluded beaches, limestone cliffs and aquamarine clear waters are what characterize this island, and is home to an abundance of coral reef formations and marine life. Koh Phangan

Kho Pha Ngan or Kho Phangan is an island in south-east Thailand and is part of the Samui Archipelago. It is well known for it’s Full Moon Party at the Haad Rin Beach, as well as it’s reputation as a destination for backpackers. It spans an area of 40 km and was a long time favourite of the previous kings of Thailand.

White Temple in Chiang Rai

Take the famous Golden Triangle tour which connects Thailand, Burma and Laos, and drive through the scenic beauty and stop off at the Hot Springs of Maekajan. The prime attraction here is the Wat Rong Khun which is better known as the White Temple in Chiang Rai. It is built in the Buddhist architectural style, and is open to tourists from 1997. The complex comprises of nine buildings, a hall of relics, an art gallery, a meditating room and living quarters for monks.

Phraya Nakhon Cave

Discover one the most mysterious and mystical, at the same time a stunning landmark of Thailand, which is the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It is located in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, which is a 45 minute drive from Hua Hin. You can take a 30 minute trek to the Laem Sala beach and make sure you take a guide with you when you go down the cave to explore the surroundings as you won’t be able to make it out alone. See the pavilion that stands on a small hill surrounded by trees and vegetation.

Scuba Diving in Koh Tao

Ko Tao is an island that is situated on the western coast of Thailand. It covers an area of 21 km, and it’s economy is based on pure tourism especially scuba diving. It also has an active breeding programme for the Hawksbill and Green turtles, which has been initiated by the Royal Thai Navy, and have reintroduced many such turtles back to the ecosystem. It is one of the most popular diving destinations in the world, and one of the easiest site where you can view reef sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas and other colourful fish.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai

The Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is an important temple and a sacred area to the Thai people, that is located on a hill in Chiang Mai, from where you can get stunning views of the city. It is located 15 km from the city of Chiang Mai, and consists of pagodas, statues, bells, a museum and shrines within it’s complex. There also exists a model of a Golden Buddha, a green glass Buddha as well as a statue of the Hindu God Ganesh.

Rock Climbing in Krabi

Railay or Rai Leh is a small peninsula situated between Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand. The only way you can access this place is by boat, due to it’s high concentration of limestone cliffs, which attract avid rock climbers from all over the world.
